Carol designed a transformation of our garden after we had completed a kitchen extension. The garden was essentially a building site, without lawn, and colourless. Carol took a detailed brief and designed a contemporary garden that we love, with a modern patio, a feature planting view in front of the kitchen sliding doors, and a chef’s garden in a cosy corner at the back of the house. Throughout, Carol was a great partner and guide. She soaks up everything you ask for and is direct when something is contradictory or out of place. Her designs were spot on, and she kept a careful eye on budget for us, offering alternatives. Carol is an incredibly diligent person and she often popped in to check or re-check things, dedicating lots of attention and care to getting the design right. We benefited greatly from her expertise but even more so from the composure and generosity with which she guided us at key points.
