Garden, Dorking

This was a complex brief in that the front garden was the principal space and the main entrance to the house. When I arrived initially there was an old conservatory, a line of dead lavender and a slope down. We built in wide shallow steps, levelled and retained the lawn so that it was usable. I also designed dining area, a seating area from the living room, and disguised the bin area. The planting was a combination of raised beds and ground level plants.
