Garden, Reigate Heath

This garden was surrounded by woodland. A garden room extension had been recently built to bring the garden into the house. I didn’t want the raised terrace to appear like a brick stage in this rural setting, so we faced the front raised wall with wood. Tall planting also served to soften it. This higher terrace led to a clay paviour lower terrace and two beds were built to the sides in order to bring the planting nearer to the house. Deck at end of garden surrounded with naturalistic planting to blend into the field beyond blurring the boundary.
